Strange how the police keep arresting people for what SFP has sworn up and down is a “right-wing conspiracy theory”.

MSN

PROVIDENCE — Six people were arrested and charged with crimes related to targeting children for sex in Warwick, Rhode Island, Attorney General Peter Neronha announced on Thursday.

The individuals were arrested on April 4 and April 5 in a joint sting operation led state and federal investigators, including Homeland Security Investigations, the Warwick Police Department, Rhode Island State Police, and the Office of the Attorney General.

Investigators placed decoy advertisements on websites known to be associated with prostitution and commercial sex with minors. The six individuals allegedly responded to a location in Warwick “intending to engage in sexual activity with a minor.”

What's not strangest how you rely on lies as the backbone of your "argument"

Standard operating procedure for you.

Bad timing also

You think sex trafficking and human trafficking is a “right-wing conspiracy theory”. You’ve said that here many times.

Wait, WTF? Why don’t you bust the people that run the websites?

No I don't. That is a lie.

I've literally never said that.

Not at all. Again, you're relying on outright lies

I said both existed on this forum as recently as....this morning

Ah so reading it...

Warwick, RI...the land of my people (and one poster)

Also, did you read the story?

quote:

Investigators placed decoy advertisements on websites known to be associated with prostitution and commercial sex with minors. The six individuals allegedly responded to a location in Warwick “intending to engage in sexual activity with a minor.”

So there were no actual minors involved.

quote:

The following people each were charged with one count of patronizing a minor for commercial sexual activity and one count of indecent solicitation of a child: Luis Chacon, 30, of West Warwick; Randy Joslin, 27, of Charlestown; Abudulganiyu Adeboye, 29, of East Providence; Robert Petit, 58, of Voluntown, Conn.

Davon Bess, 33, of Central Falls was charged with one count of indecent solicitation and one count of resisting arrest. Paul Taylor, 68, of Holland, Mass., was charged with one count of indecent solicitation of a child.

And nobody was charged with sex trafficking.

Proving my point that the term is being used to situations that don't involve actual trafficking in any way.

So we finally have you on the record acknowledging sex trafficking and human trafficking?

Uh yeah. Only people who created strawmen claimed I stated otherwise.

That changes nothing about my stance on the issue, and your thread is a feather in my cap. Thank you for pointing out how the term "sex trafficking" and "trafficking" generally is being abused to elicit emotional responses in people who don't actually look at the details of what occurred.

Right. Its very real.

I was watching youtube badgecams yesterday, I was shocked at how many "pimps" show up and grill the cops when one of their girls is picked up.

They literally track them all day.

You can't read, apparently.

quote:

I'll sum it up again, for you, so you can hopefully stop lying.

No child labor trafficking definitely happens

I mean child sex trafficking happens, too, just less and primarily in areas nowhere near the US. Sex trafficking generally is found in Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Does it happen here? Sure. Is it common? No. Is it part of some international conspiracy for blood sacrifices? No.

quote:

quote:

The term “sex trafficking” isn’t being used to describe kidnapping or involuntary movement and isolation of people for the purpose of exploitation. (That’s how I always understood the term.) The term “trafficking” is now being used for any involuntary or coerced sex work. The old term “pimp” has been replaced with “sex trafficker.” When understood this way, it makes more sense.

Yes. The terminology has changed. People who want to give government more power always change the definition of words to achieve that goal.

quote:

The most common situation, far and away the most common, is sexual abuse and coercion by caretakers and family members of the victim.

Yes. Minor sex trafficking, too. The vast majority of cases involve a family member or friend of the family. The rest of the minority are dominated by runaways from...households of physical and sexual abuse.

The primary cause of what ends up as "child sex trafficking" in the US isn't some international conspiracy. It's sexual and/or physical abuse by family. The #2 cause is sexual abuse by close family friends.

quote:

The idea of kidnapping and selling into sexual slavery is extremely rare

Correct. "Stranger danger" happens but is VERY rare.

If you go back to the weeks starting at July 4th and after you’ll see dozens and dozens of posts from SFP denying that human trafficking isn’t anything more than a handful of people globally. You’ll see him push the narrative that it isn’t widespread at all and that the idea is a far right conspiracy. It’s all there and he knows it so he’s trying to backpedal now in hopes that people won’t go look at the proof.

I wonder why he is so invested in downplaying child sex trafficking. It makes you wonder if he is involved, one way or another

What's political about this?bad people were charged and arrested.

Also no one was charged with trafficking in this story so the OP and title are misleading.

He’s a big defender of elitist, corporate or global. He really worships consolidated power structures, especially oppressive ones.
