Tepid support for watered down versions of policy requests (or…outright refusal) is not something to hang your hat on.

There is a reason he went the EO route (even to the point of stupidity).

About funding for the wall…Trump moved money around in order to circumvent opposition. Iirc, it may have actually been unconstitutional.

Trusting Congress is not something anyone should do.

Then again, this is your idea of leadership:

I’m not sure why anyone would waste their time if the goal is to change your mind. Trump has numerous accomplishments he could run on that you willingly omitted. All of them could be pointed out and you’d just brush them off. Your TDS needs help beyond what most of us can provide.

I mean, for being the greatest president in the history of the world, surely he can run on SOMETHING from his first term.

He did, and lost.

Now he has to reinvent himself.

You have to play politics, which means cooperate.

Donny cannot do this. He is limited on the support he will ever get.

Trump running on his accomplishments is the problem.

If he would run a Biden Basement campaign he'd win, because Biden may be the worst POTUS of all time.

I'm afraid he WILL try to make it about himself and brag about stuff that many will dispute and after a while no one is thinking about Biden increasing the money supply by 42% over the last 2 1/2 years and his idiotic energy "policies" aggravating the hell out of inflation and how he's such a weak POTUS that all of the world's villains are coming out of the woodwork to cause trouble b/c they know he won't do anything about it (of course, the Republican "America-First!" populists are just as weak) and how he may also be the most corrupt POTUS ever as well.

At that point people are just pointing their finger at Trump claiming he's lying about his accomplishments and forgetting about the Alzheimer's patient in the White House.

So i hope he IS too scared to talk about his accomplishments, but I'm not holding my breath.

I would probably vote for him if he were a serious person. But hes not. Hes lying to you. He cannot bring back mfg to this country, we already priced ourselves out of that market.

Hes given you folks a bunch of false hope based on nothing.

There’s not a thing Trump could do or say that would meet with your approval or otherwise be anything but the worst move, biggest failure imaginable. Which is a completely irrational and ridiculous position to dig in with. Thus Trump wouldn’t or doesn’t waste any time or effort to address the concerns and criticisms and complaints of those who adopt the same or similar “worldview.” So it is what it is. We’ll mark you down for “strong vote against Trump.” Done and done.

Because he is blatantly lying to you.

His policies are archaic and economically horrible, and he knows it.

Two trillion in debt per year in office. Is that something you think we should support?

OP, if Trumpers based their fandom on objective, observable reality, we wouldn’t have Trumpers.

Trump ran HUGE deficits and didn’t move the economic needle; both employment and GDP numbers continued on the same trends inherited from Obama. He didn’t pass any significant legislation other than a tax cut that led to said deficits. He didn’t change healthcare. He didn’t build a significant amount of wall. And during his one crisis (Covid), he completely shite the bed.

Trumpers love Trump because he validates their stupid, shitty views on government and society. That’s the schtick.

Why lie?

There are ZERO circumstances where you would do so.

Like Fun Bunch, you will be voting for Biden in 2024.
