When this first came up, one of Landrieu's supporters was supposed to take ownership of the monuments & put them in a new museum that he would set up, along with other historical items. He would then charge admission. Point being, one of Landrieu's money men would end up making a profit of the monuments. Not sure where that stands now, but Landrieu is making zero comments as to where they will end up. Which is odd, as once they are down, they need to go somewhere, right?

Berkeley campus would take them.

City should be forced to sell via auction

I'll give 'em..... tree fiddy.
Posted on 4/24/17 at 5:39 pm to thelawnwranglers
They're going to be sold to Landrieus buddy John Cummings
Posted on 4/24/17 at 5:39 pm to thelawnwranglers
They should sell them to people and allow them to display them on private property

I am not defending
Plus I live in New Jersey
Something tells me a 17ft Robert E Lee in my side yard would cause butt hurt.
Would the OT support a go fund me to make this happen?
