Should you stand for the anthem while watching a televised NFL game?

§171. Conduct during playing During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should render the military salute at the first note of the anthem and retain this position until the last note. When the flag is not displayed, those present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed there.

More like imagining the Phoenix Cardinals running a train on his wife whilst beating off in the closet.

I'll send the cops over to your house just to make sure.

Why did you use the lol emoticon?

no because you are not present. the reason why you stand at a event is because you are present and they give attention to the flag so you should do what you were taught in kindergarten to stand and appropriately give respect during the anthem.

I always tape the games I watch so I can fast forward through the dumb stuff

No because you aren't in the same area..
I do go silent though as do the people at my house at parties and stuff. The flag isn't present so nothing to stand at attention too

Yes. Who gives a shite what the code says. Put down your nachos and stand like a fricking American. It's disrespectful to our flag and our military to sit on your fat asses while everyone else is being 'Merica as frick.

You know his life has to be a mess
He lived by the Hollywood liberal theology, and now hes finding out most of the nation has been silently disgusted by that sort of liberal behavior
Now he looks in the mirror at a man who tricked out his wife, because he was told its OK, its cool, its about being free to make choices
Until Trump got elected and Weinstein got exposed

No, tv viewers aren't setting an example, but if your in attendance, yes standing is the right thing to do.
However, nothing stops a true nationalist/patriot from standing, if they want to stand when viewing on the TV.
