The women who are blasting Boomer for his C-section comment said a father being with his wife during the birth of their FIRST children was very important to the woman so I included that in my question about whether a soldier fighting on the battlefield being given paternity leave.

And by, "fighting on the battlefield", I mean exactly that. He's on the battlefield fighting the enemy.

Depends on your unit I guess. We usually didn't.
