I don't see anything useful on Fox about the Sessions hearings this morning. Are they over? Somehow I don't think so. Anyone know how late they went last night? Thanks.

Sessions is such a shite pick. With that said he's far from the worst pick

You know that Sessions has been prepping for this for a long while with the help of many in DC.

I can't wait to see this attack. Hopefully, Sessions skewers that fig with his response.

The man was a class act yesterday and comported himself with dignity and tenacity in the face of some low blows from the likes of Blumenthal and such. His background is rock solid and the smear campaign is nothing if not typical of leftist scumbags.

If there are any negatives re Sessions, cw...it's that he will not be in Trump's pocket, nothing close to what Obama employed DOJ as a tool to promote his Policy.

In Principle, that's good, as there is plenty of legit illegality to justify Sessions bringing the heat on Dem Operatives. But there are going to be times when a lot could be accomplished, but will need DOJ to make the first (investigative) move; then the evidence comes. Illegal voting fraud comes to mind.

If it is anything like yesterday, Sessions will make Booker look foolish. Sessions and the republicans were doing the Mike Pence yesterday. Acting like the adult in the room talking to children.

To this day, Mike Pence had the best debate I have ever seen.

I agree. He seems very independent-minded and very adamant about applying the law. Perhaps that's why Trump picked him. I think he is unambiguous about his own personal positions and beliefs, and it remains to be seen how he manages to separate those from applying the law as it currently stands. But I feel much better about the level of experience and integrity in a Sessions DoJ. Time will tell!

oh yeah this is where Booker gets to make this grandiose speech and get tons of press

this is coordinated with the major liberal media outlets entirely. i hope that he throws out enough BS for Cruz to rip him apart

If I were the Dems, I'd be careful how far they go with their new favorite identity politician.

He's too raw to go against Cruz. He probably can't pucker his butt but if he could, Booker would be puckered if Cruz was set loose.

Aren't these hearings a formality? It there any chance at all that Trump's appointees do not get confirmed?
