McConnell has a chance to take away the major issues for Dems going into 2016

How many fricking issues and years have to come and go with R's "taking the issue off the table" by giving Dems exactly what they want?

You're part of the problem, just like McConnell... even if you do support Rand. A big boy doesn't need "issues off the table," especially issues that few people support. If Rand is worth his salt, he can defeat Dems with every issue still "on the table."

Rand or Sessions IMO. McConnell isn't the right guy we need right now when 2016 is looming.

Boehner folded on the govt shutdown faster than a chinese cloths tree, he is in for his own gain and nothing else. The govt shutdown was the only thing the 'R's have accomplished of any value, it showed how well the country works without much of what the aholes in D.C. "pass" into legislation.

No I don't like the sound of that, but I like the sound of Harry Reid not being the Senate Majority leader even more.

No. But it beats having a pedophile running the Senate.

Neither Paul nor Cruz would take it even if they could be elected. I assume if one is on a politics board it's obvious why.

For the last four years, Nancy Pelosi has had about as much ability and power to get anything done in the House as Kermit the Frog. Yet the previous four years, she had a role in shaping all of our lives.

That's your answer.

I will vote for McConnell tomorrow, but only because it's the lesser of two evils. I can't in good conscience vote to give Obama power, and Grimes is as sleazy as they come. I also do not like people who hold one office being able to run for another office and keep their first job and get paid, even though they aren't doing that job.

I'm a term limits guy and think that would go a long way to solving this country's ills. I think to serve in Congress it should be a volunteer position.

McConnell makes me sick. If Vitter supports him as Senate Majority Leader this time around, I'll never vote for him again.

FYI - Cassidy supported John Boehner for Speaker both times. That says a lot about Cassidy in my book.

No, it sets off my gag reflex.

Don't get me wrong, Harry Reid has to go... but I don't see a massive improvement with mooseknuckle chin in Reid's stead. He's done about as much to damage conservatism as Reid, only it's disguised because of the R next to his name.

frick him.

I kige this.

I have a dream too...

Dems lose the Senate, and McConnell gets beat in KY. If Grimes wins and Dems still lose the Senate, I just might bust a nut big enough to blow a hole in my pants.

McConnell is horrible. If not for the opportunity to take back the Senate, I would prefer he lose.
