Per Archer, Hunter Biden was basically just selling his name.

so did Billy Carter and Ron Reagan Jr. Just the latest in a very, very long line of presidential offspring, siblings and collateral relatives who have taken advantage of their position.

as far as I can tell, the only real difference is that Hunter Biden is the biggest trainwreck of them all.

First of all, your OP is untrue. Secondly, even selling “the illusion of access” to the president or vice president is still an issue.

Followed up by phone calls with Joe. Also, when you hear Burisma boys needing help with a prosecutor and then Joe bragging about withholding a billion dollars till said prosecutor is removed, is that an illusion of access, or an actual quid pro quo that also netted money for the family?

It's really strange that those people, over the course of YEARS, never figured out that it was only an illusion. They gave millions and millions to a frickup crack head and never got a single thing in return from the Big Guy. Man, that's odd. I guess eastern bloc oligarchs are really forgiving when it comes to money? You can just rip them off and keep coming back for more?

It's still bribery, and when it influences policy, it's treason.

They weren't selling access to Joe. The access was to Hussein. Joe was just the first degree of separation.

Except

quote:

The Bidens’ former business partner Devon Archer told lawmakers Monday that President Biden’s family “was in the business of influence peddling” and that Mr. Biden’s 20-plus phone calls into business meetings were central to son Hunter Biden’s strategy for cutting lucrative deals.

Then-Vice President Biden was central to securing some of those deals by stopping by or calling into meetings that his son Hunter was conducting with executives from overseas firms.

Hunter is gonna do what degenerate crackheads do.

The problem is with Joe answering and going along with it.

Weak "whataboutism"

Why do you feel the need to justify this? Should we be angry? Is this acceptable or business as usual to you?

I get the argument. My issue is, the Trump family would be buried for the same laptop/access/conduct.
