Seems like Haley is setting herself to run as a third option no matter what.

She must feel pretty good about this. Try and be the person who is not Trump and not Biden. Wonder if she could pull it off?

I wouldn’t be surprised if RINOs bail on that and actually encourage Haley to run Indy.
They would get roasted.

Doubtful. A majority of states have a "sore loser" law which means if you run in a party primary you can't then run as an independent or for another party in that state.
ETA: That's the main reason RFK Jr. dropped out of the DNC primary to run as an independent. If he had stayed in that primary he would've been barred from appearing on the ballot in a majority of states.

Well, RAV is reporting that Rona McDaniel is out on March 9, so Nikki will have pay her own way. But for the Never Trump crowd.

That's the only chance they have at biden beating Trump. If she can pull enough never-Trumpers there's a chance biden wins without a runoff (in their minds)
