I like that guy. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. I liked how he was taking shots at the Jindal administration and insurance companies during the LBP debate.

I guess if you want trial lawyers to directly control the state (as has been the case for the last 8 years), then sure.

I think it takes balls to run as an independent in this state. To me, it says you believe your platform is strong enough to stand on its own merit.

I didn’t say I voted for him but I would be interested to see what he would do with a 4 year term.

Not questioning his intelligence, but that radio ad he was running made him sound like Forrest Gump.

A liberal plaintiff lawyer playing the middle of the field to try to get elected governor.

I think I've seen this movie before.

“But my dad used to work on the docks,” so I became a lazy career politician.

Doubt it. Outside of Landry & Wilson, Wags is the only one with a shot

His Dad was probably happy his son did not HAVE to work the docks. Probably happy his boy was a "lazy" lawyer/politician.

That’s cool and every dad should also. Don’t use it as a slogan to pander to blue collar workers and try to sway their vote because your dad was blue collar. You’re white collar, you’re a white collar worker, don’t use the hardships of your father to try and gain votes to a group of people you know nothing about.

That dude took out like 2 million in loans for the election. His campaign is over a million in debt. No thank you for running the State.
