Wealthy elites trying to secure their spot in the NWO hierarchy.

Oh bullshite.
They alienated their entire consumer base with some woke queer pandering garbage and they're now trying to damage control it by distancing themselves and pinning it on a rogue employee.

Second reply gets it:
Which is exactly the kind of rumor a skilled marketing team would circulate to attempt to walk back a monumental flop of a marketing campaign.
"What?...that craziness?.....definitely wasn't us...."
Anybody with common sense would know that would be impossible.
* project management
* design team
* distribution
* marketing
* accounting
* exec level approval
You're talking several hundred (at the very least) across multiple teams with budget approval of a large non-capex expense. Whoopsie daisy ain't going to cut it.

Though I never drink that swill, guess I certainly won't now.

This is 100% correct.
If they fire and press charges against the trans activist then I'd believe them. Anything less and they're lying groomers.

I graduated from bud light to ultra. Guess it will be Blue Moon and exploring micro breweries.
What the activists don’t understand is most don’t care what someone does with a consenting adult in private. Don’t break laws, touch or groom kids and don’t make it a problem for me.
If it is breaking Gods law, God has reserved the right to punish them.

This. Anyone who works in the corporate world knows that this campaign would have been worked on by hundreds and also have sr mgmt approval.
They did not anticipate this level of backlash. They assumed it would get them woke points on the left but not go viral to the normies.
They assumed wrong and are now backtracking their arse off.

Pabst used to be one of the top brands in the country until they fricked up a lot of stuff including going with cheaper quality ingredients. It took about 30 years for the brand to come back as an ironic hipster thing.
Schlitz did the same.
From one of the biggest to basically nowhere today. As I recall they started using corn syrup to lower expenses and it didn't go over well.

Anyone seen drinking Bud Light in a bar should be ridiculed
Posted on 4/4/23 at 3:31 pm to anc
What exactly did Bud Light think was going to happen by pandering to a small number of freaks?

bullshite.

You'd think a national marketing campaign this major would have all the corporate approvals required.

Play golf two weeks ago with my son and his friends who have an AB distributor
He asked if I heard about this last week and he called his friends and said he is now stopping drinking their beer and that this was BS

Schlitz was the best selling beer in the U.S.A. and the dumbasses changed the whole process and ingredients.

Let’s not get too upset. We saw her drinking beer in a bubble bath.
