The GOP won the fight by winning the election and winning Congress as well, thus its not their seat to fill anymore.

I wonder if CHuck was one of the Democrat sentors who warned GWB to not nominate anybody if the opportunity came up later than 2006.

Now, that doesn't mean you have to change the rules. Each side didn't get their nominee. Let's sit down and come together. Our Republican friends are acting like, you know, they're a cat on the top of a tree and they have to jump off with all the damage that entails. Come back off the tree, sit down, and work with us and we will produce a mainstream nominee.

With that, he managed to come up with something funnier than Amy Schumer ever said.

They should just take the loss and move on to the RGB/Breyer fight

Ive said it before but I'll say it again.

I want them to filibuster and for McConnell to change the rule to ram Gorsuch thru with a majority vote.

We need that fight behind us when RGB finally kicks the bucket - we need to replace her with a Ted Cruz level constitutionalist - and every justice after that for as long as we hold the Senate and the WH.

We especially need to start filling the lower courts with constitutionalists.

I'd also like them to find a way to impeach some of these lower court flunkies who are just there to destroy the constitution. Could some kind of judicial review panel be instituted where judges reasonings is compared to the constitution and be sanctioned if found to be typically averse to it.

This is the biggest issue with our current political system. Now that the Democrats are no longer in control, they want to work with the Republicans?
No. They want to continue to dictate terms.
