I don't see that in the article. Did you just make it up? And I've never met parents IRL who prevented their kids from doing Halloween stuff because it's Satanic. Have you ever met such a family IRL?

It's not that the holiday is non-inclusive; I believe the schools position is that some of the poors cannot afford costumes for their kids, thus "non-inclusive." Hence the change to "black" and "orange" day

It sounds like they are worried about alienating poors.
Because they make a big deal about the costume parade was canceled amid concerns over inclusivity.
So if your Mom can't make you an awesome costume, you will feel ashamed and not included.
