But what if the counseling isn't religious based?
Supplying birth control isn't in and of itself religious. It's just that Hobby Lobby owners objected to it based on their religious beliefs.
Now the motivation for the counseling law is without a doubt religiously motivated although the counseling may not be religious in nature. That being said it doesn't matter...the satanists will argue that it is just a violation of their religious beliefs to receive counseling prior to an abortion.
Kinda shows the absurdity of religious based objections to laws we're all subject to.

Because medicine and scientific fact are the tenets of satanists’ faith, then medically inaccurate and coercive counseling laws present a substantial burden
I think this what they are referring to.

Well, when you take a nation that was founded on strong principles of freedom and then try to inject government into something as complex and wide-ranging as healthcare, this is the kind of mess that is going to be the result.
This is worth repeating.

Exactly. The Hobby Lobby opened Pandora's box. Employers will start claiming religious exemptions from all sorts of regulations and very few courts will question the sincerity of their religious beliefs. I'm not even sure it's a good idea to make court's decide if religious beliefs are sincere

This moron said satanism wasn't a religion, though?

Some Harvard group wanted to perform a "Black Mass" on campus with this guy's help. Claimed they'd stolen a "consecrated host," etc. Ended up being forced off campus. In the end, the "Black Mass" may or may not have occurred. During the whole thing, this guy put out about 6 contradictory statements, depending on who was asking.

Sorry, but real people don't have a right to do as they please because their religion says so - only corporate people can do that.
