I don't even see the point of them doing that. It's wasting a lot of money for posturing. There's nothing in the gulf they'd have interest in unless they plan to hit our oil rigs since we are driving oil prices lower

They're going to drill for oil off the coast of Cuba and Florida, as the Chinese already do, and/or off the coast of Mexico, now that Mexico is open to foreign interests in the energy business.
The USA has 3 huge coastlines and we only drill for oil on a small portion of 1 of those coastlines. We are the only dummies who don't drill off Florida, the Chinese and now the Russians will be drinking our milkshake together soon.
