Sorry if there are people who call out falste narratives - I know you love to promote them.

Some folks are just trying to talk doe truth to you - in a pretty civil manner I might add.

Rush is no degenerate - give counterexample if you can.

He did not become dependent on oxycontin because he was trying to escape reality - he did it to escape pain. And now he has fixed. - give counterexample if you can.

Otherwise, you are just supporting another left wing false narrative - another in a long line of DEM lies that have made it into ignorant mainstream due to the complicity of the MSM.

Please provide any counterexamples to the above to prove your points.

Wow, your first exposure was NFL. I never listened to him on the NFL pregame. Here is some perspective..
In the 1980s I was researching a variety of topics (before internet) and I was particularly cognizant of the fake data put out by Homeless Advocates. Mitch Snyder was the leader... the Jesse Jackson of Homelessness.

I was channel hopping music stations in my car when I heard this guy say "After this break we will have a homeless update."

I thought.."What a moron who believes the Homeless scam." Changed channels. Then I came back after a lot of bad songs and heard him say "Mitch Snyder is faking the Homeless data. It's a ruse."

I thought "Damn, someone else knows this? I called my brother in Virginia and said 'Ya gotta listen to this guy Rush Limbaugh. He's saying what we already know."

Mitch Snyder was eventually exposed as a fraud. The Dem congress was pressured to defund him. He killed himself. His teenage girl friend brought his ashes to Congress to ask for money. But Mitch's ashes couldn't talk because ashes just can't talk.

Aww, the story about how you met your man crush. I love these. So heart-warming.

Rush Limbaugh became addicted to oxycodone because his ear canal was drilled out to have a cochlear implant installed.

He didn't do it for recreational purposes.

Man you Limbaugh lovers are persistent and dedicated, I'll give yall that.

Tactical, I notice that you avoided my question.

Do you disagree with Rush Limbaugh's assertion that the protests surrounding Ferguson were based on a false narrative?

And if you disagree, please point out any actual wrongdoing by the FPD.

Once again, ommg, you can't refute the actual subject matter of the thread, so you are reduced to deflecting about some totally irrelevant matter.

What are you so afraid of? Is it that you know that Ferguson has been a totally manipulated and fabricated story based on a false narrative, but you don't have the character to acknowledge the obvious?

No, I just don't have much interest in this thread. I just thought the posts I quoted were pretty funny. Just because I post in a thread doesn't mean I'm trying to get into some long debate. Its NFL Sunday man, try to relax for just one day a week

I'm relaxed, bro.

I was simply noting your reluctance to weigh in on the obvious fact that the blow-up over Ferguson was totally unwarranted, and that the real victim in that situation has been Darren Wilson.

But by all means, run away and hide from the actual substance of this thread. You always do.

Enjoy your game.

I am not going to attempt to speak on the behalf of Ferguson protesters, and no I do not think there was any wrongdoing by the Ferguson Police Department.

I was responding to the comment in which it was suggested that Rush has never gone to far in his comments. The consensus here seems to be that Rush has never gone over the line, I think it is absolutely silly to think he never has.

It occurs to me that the Rush Revere books would be the perfect gift for the children of all my liberal friends.

"But Mommy this book doesn't have a mention of our earliest Transgendered Pilgrims"....

If you know anything about him you know this is what happened.

I would imagine that someone of your obvious impeccable educational resume would be familiar with people who have suffered terribly with pain, and consequently become addicted to pain medication.

I don't wish that on anyone whether I agree with their politics or not. And the fact that you are allegedly a med student or such, have such a cavalier attitude about the awfulness of addiction says a whole lot about you and your capacity to treat people in an humane way.

Okay guy. Rush defense team out in full force I see.

I was listening to him more then at the time he was losing his hearing. I knew something was different, but couldn't figure it out. I actually thought he was smoking cigars, and was pausing to puff, when he was actually reading the callers' comments being transcribed.

I don't know why it's so hard to believe that his addiction to pain medicine was a result of his hearing loss and surgery.

But if you and others want to think that because you think it shows him to be a hypocrite, then go ahead.

Red, your waiting your time. People who dislike Rush will never be objective. They don't like him and can't get past that. They don't care about the message just the messenger. Typical liberal hypocrisy.

Still I commend you for defending
him

And just what "line" would that be, T1? Bald faced lies re core election promises...like "you can keep your doctor". How about Executive Privilege re IRS collusion in attacking political enemies? "If I had a son"...fanning the racial hatred flames. I could go on...but it wouldn't matter to you.

Bottom line. The Left has taken the 'go over the line' gloves off. Sew the wind...and earn the whirlwind. Just like with Radical/Fundamentalist Islam...Obama et al have taken the gloves off; and they may as well quit whining about going over some line of ethical political dialogue. Game on.

Bottom line.

I am a big fan, have listened for abut 20 years, and your assertion about the cause of his addiction is not accurate. He was taking oxycodone for back pain during which he became addicted. One of Rush's own doctors speculated that it was possible that taking large doses of the drug could have caused his loss of hearing.

"Limbaugh stated his addiction to painkillers resulted from several years of severe back pain heightened by a botched surgery intended to correct those problems."

"When questioned whether Limbaugh's sudden hearing loss was caused by his addiction to opiates, his cochlear implant doctor, otolaryngologist Jennifer Derebery, said that it was possible but that there is no way to know for sure without performing tests that would destroy Limbaugh's hearing completely. "We don't know why some people, but apparently not most, who take large doses may lose their hearing"."

I appreciate your correction.
I've missed those assertions, and was just relying on what I heard when news of his addiction came out.

The pertinent issue is that his detractors want to imply that he was using oxy for "recreational" purposes. He was not.

Again, thanks for the correction.
