This makes no sense. Is this accurate or the media making crap up like the Trump kids clearances?

Rudy would fit better in a law enforcement role.

Rudy will be AG not SoS and Bolton has zero chance of heading up the SoS.

Elections have consequences?

Honestly, I am not a big Rudy fan (insofar as a position in this administration)

I really think at this point CNN and the media made up this SOS Rudy stuff to buffer their tears of their Queen getting in trouble. It was Christie that is now OUT; that said he thought it was political to go after Crooked.

I just learned my lesson that CNN is just plain ole making crap up at this point; with the Trump kids getting a clearance.

Agreed. He's simply an opportunist. Rudy, in fact, was in favor of NYC as a sanctuary city. WTF would Trump want Rudy helping direct policy? All he is, at this time, is a loud mouth.

I understand repaying loyalty, but are Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, and John Bolton really the best Trump can do?

I like Rudy. He was well received at Trump rallies and worked tirelessly. He was a true leader on 911. Listen....they all suck and it is a profession of BS but I'd trust Rudy before Ryan and McConnell any day.

I always liked Rudy. Wanted him in '08.

I think he would make a fine AG. SOS? Not so much.

Newt said what he wanted last night, writing overall structure or policy or something... I think SOS should go to a younger man or woman that can deal with the jet lag easier.

I would like to have a beer with Rudy. I just don't want him in office.

I know most on this board are really young, but if you saw NYC pre-Giuliani as Mayor and post-Giuliani you would have a much different view of him.

The man did absolute wonders and miracles for a city that was a total cluster mess and in financial ruin.

What sense does it make??

I can see him as head of Homeland Security but that's about it.

I agree. I don't understand the discontent for him at all.

That and his efforts post 9/11 makes me think he is better for Homeland Security than SoS. AG would be a better fit but he has taken himself out of the running for that.

I just don't see him as SoS at all. Maybe I am missing something? what is it?

Sen Coker seems a better fit for SoS.
