Indeed. America's Mayor tamed crime in NYC in short order. I could feel the difference on the street in a matter of weeks. He also fired, demoted or forced into retirement 60% of police commanders in the first year if they failed to or were incapable of doing their job.
NYC came back to life. Shoppers and tourists flocked back.
