I was about to post an Op-Ed from the NYT where some Republican elector said the same thing.

LINK

quote:

I believe electors should unify behind a Republican alternative, an honorable and qualified man or woman such as Gov. John Kasich of Ohio.

You know Kasich is behind this. Trump needs to go scorched Earth on Kasich and everyone associated with him.

They don't get to make this call. If the EC plays elitist shenanigans. Then WAR. They want to play with fire then they can get their arse burned.

FIFY

The Bushes are butthurt that the Republican party has been wrested from their neocon big government loving RINO hands. They are doing all they can to undermine Trump. This faithless elector is from Texas. The Bushes still run the Texas republicans by and large. This is their doing.

Everyone talks about how Trump slayed the Clinton dragon. They have forgotten he had practice by killing off the Bush dragon with relative ease in the primaries. Jeb! and his guacamole bowls were off the campaign trails by April.

Agreed. The Bush cartel is so slick that they will fool many with their new bloodline running in 2020

P even suggested he GETS why Trump resonated.

They need two to further the wicked dynasties.

This is the same John Kasich, the sitting governor of Ohio, whose state held the Republican convention (which he did not attend) and actively campaigned against his party's nominee and now president elect.

Yes, I see how a consensus would form behind such leadership.

Soros and BLM would have to take notes on how to riot if this shite were to happen.

I would have voted for Kasich over Hillary in the general election.

And you all should be loving this since the electoral college is sacred. Those electors can do whatever they wish. Member how beauty and prefect the system is?

I need some help. If you are in a state won by Clinton how does switching your vote from Clinton to Kasich decrease Trump's electoral college vote total?

Kuckich better worry about his own Ohio re-election unless he has different political ambitions next election go-around.
