So any woman who conceives through rape, and doesn't want to have that child should be in prison?

And women who would be at increased risk of death if they attempted to deliver a baby? Morgue or prison?

Sad.

When I think I've already witnessed the dumbest shite of the day, someone ups the ante.

It's Monday but you may run the gamut for the rest of the week for the top spot.

Republican politicians DGAF about Roe v Wade. They use it as a talking point to garner votes.

Even if the case comes to the supreme court again I doubt anything changes. People need to wake up and realize the greatest divide in this country is between the voters and the politicians. They care more about taking bribes than taking care of their constituents.

Democrat politicians DGAF about Roe v Wade either. They use it as a talking point to stir up the base and garner votes.

How bout we exclude the situations in your examples? Would that compromise work? Or are you using these situations to excuse all of the convenience abortions?

Until a case comes before the Court, no change will happen.

Here's the dirty little secret though. Let's say Roe is overturned tomorrow.

It will not make abortion immediately illegal across the country. What it will do is remand it back to the states to decide what they want to do about it, which is how it should be since the Constitution doesn't address the issue.

If Mississippi wants to make it illegal, then Mississippi will have that right, as well as the right to decide punishment.

If California wants drive-thru abortions on demand with no restrictions, then, again, that would be their right to decide.
