I will!

quote:

She added members of Congress would “lose the trust of our base if we don’t keep our promises.” “Our base is going to walk away,” she continued. “They’re going to feel like, ‘Hey, you said one thing on the campaign trail to get elected and you didn’t act on it.’”

The GOP doesn't seem to understand that their majorities in congress depends on Donald Trump carrying out his signature campaign promises and whether or not they help them become reality.

So far, they're allegedly all in on repealing ObamaCare and getting tax reform but they have to make sure the wall is fully funded regardless of who pays for it.

The wall is a hot button topic but if they passed tax reform and a good ACA replacement they will likely be fine. You know, the truly important things.

The establishment cucks opposing Trump are only hurting themselves long term. The more they fight him, the more likely they are to lose the mid terms.

I agree, get tax reform, or Obamacare repealed, and it's all good. I want the wall, but once the Govt quit restricting the Border Patrol and catch/release policies were under different leadership, it's under control....or at least better than it's been in a while...

I disagree. Those people in those sold out venues for Trump werent trumpeting tax reform. They were chanting build that wall. The wall is what most of his base is really focused on. Im not sure tax reform will cover it for a lot of the base. Some sure but even those may folks may be irked.

Trump is playing it right, the people know Trump isn't the hurdle to the wall, it's congress, and the budget battle. He could go alone and be reckless with spending like Obama( Remember when we didn't have a budget for years under Obama) , but he's trying to bring congress along for other reasons...No alternative but stay the course, and keep fighting the takers, stay home and they'll take it all...

The only thing about a wall though, is that the next President can't just make it go away with a pen. Not without suffering major consequences. The next Obama can just rollback all of the other improvements in border security.

This. A liberal President can't use accounting to make it look like he's being vigilant at our border. The wall will slow illegal immigration to a trickle.

Exactly! They can pull away from it, allow things to be done to it, but that will be pointed out by the conservatives.

When I listened to these clowns talk about the Republican's winning the election...it's like Trump had nothing to with it. "they voted against Obamacare", blah, blah blah. Either they don't get, don't care or the more obvious they don't know how to do their job...they had nothing to replace Obamacare. Wisconsin better be paying more attention this time if capt. cuck fricks this up...all three branches...no excuses and still the most worthless bunch. No Hillary and Gorsuch SCOTUS...better than the alternative.

The wall is for future globalist and open borders administrations and sending a strong message to them that there will be serious consequences if you ignore enforcing immigration law.

The wall will be a great media tool to beat back support for open borders.

A wall would be nice but I also knew it would be a lot tougher to actually make happen. I just really like the strong stance on illegal immigration in general. Not just the wall

It's true I believe.Not sure where we'll walk to.

If we,the people that elected him President, are expected to support all the other expenses, then this Administration needs to spend some money on securing our Border.Period.Exclamation Point!
