I was fortunate enough to meet Capt Montalvan and Tuesday a few years ago. I gave them a dog n pony show tour of our operations group and explained how we support the ground pounders. Great guy and amazing dog. He was on a tour supporting service dog initiatives. RIP I hope you found peace and Tuesday is well taken care of.

Police found Montalvan's body inside a hotel room Friday night at 11:53 p.m. The hotel is located on the 300 block of N. Kansas.
Police said there were no signs of foul play and a cause of death is pending investigation by the Medical Examiner's office.
Montalvan, suffering from physical combat-related wounds and a crippling post-traumatic stress disorder was able to recover thanks to the help of his service dog Tuesday. His book "Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Save Him" went on to become a New York Times Best Seller.
Montalvan was a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Army, according to his biography. He served multiple tours abroad and was decorated with numerous awards, including two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, the Army Commendation Medal for Valor, and the Combat Action Badge.

Good guy, you could tell he was struggling with deep issues, and Tuesday was his anchor. I count myself lucky to have spent a day with him.

Gosh man. If this is what it sounds like...
This issue has been out of control. I just can't believe it sometimes.
