The "rapture" is not a mainstream theological idea. It is a very recent thing, in my opinion propagated by those who preach a fear-based gospel.

Does not work that way.

Don't you have to live through the tribulation and be guillotined for Christ or something? That would certainly suck, but if you had 100% knowledge that the Rapture happened, ergo: Eternity in paradise is legit; it would be a decent payoff on the old cost:benefit analysis chart.

Well, yeah. I mean all of organized religion is fear based and it was popularized to keep the proles and peasants in line so the rulers could keep decorum more easily. All you have to do is tour the European Cathedrals to realize how bullshite religion always has been - all of those resources (at a time when resources were so scarce and hard to come by) devoted to building these insane palaces.

But it's fun to debate, anyhow.

All that being said, Griffin wearing that is kinda funny. The Baylor basketball team ran a train on his now wife while they were at Baylor and he himself was a Plan-B frequent flyer.

Typical Aggy bullshite.

I wasn't aware you went to school with the guy.

Didn't RGIII cheat on his wife fairly publicly like 6 months ago? Is he a Cornball Christian as well?

Nope, the girl later admitted she completely made up the story.

Yes. It is on the front of the shirt. Why do you think Nike only wants their brand worn? It's advertising them on a personal level.

His five four clothing shirt is the same thing. I had never heard of five four clothing until I saw it on this guy and looked them up.

So yeah!

You can't seem to grasp the fact that the Nike brand issue you are referring to only applies on the field. The rule being cited for RGIII has nothing to do with Nike. Or brand names.

With people praying to Jesus about death and illness and war and famine... I doubt he cares if a millionaire has to turn a shirt with his name on it inside out.
