According to the poll, 45% of Americans said Trump was better suited to create jobs, while 32% said Biden was the better candidate for that. That pushed Trump's advantage over Biden in terms of job creation to 13 points, compared with the Republican president's 6-point edge in a similar poll that ran in mid-April.

Thirty-seven percent said Trump was better leading the country's coronavirus response, while 35% preferred Biden. A similar poll in mid-April showed Biden had a slight edge over Trump when it came to the nation's response to the disease.

Overall, 42% of Americans said they approved of Trump's performance in office, and 53% said they disapproved. The president's popularity has remained relatively flat for more than a year.

National polls are meaningless

Trump will get 45-48% come November nationally

The issue polls have all been the same shite:

Trump:
Economy
Jobs
Immigration
Second amendment

Joe:
Bring country back together
Education
Foreign policy
Environment
Healthcare

Didn't realize pocketing tens of millions in bribes from our enemies was considered good foreign policy.

Trump is going to have to come up with a very clean jobs & economy message if the unemployment and GDP numbers suck in 3Q (which is what everyone is projecting). Not really sure what his play on that is.

Trump is a proven jobs builder.

Not only do the dems have no one with that resume,

their plans, like the Green New Deal, will keep the current job losses in a permanent state.

This has always cracked me up. On what basis can any person polled come to the conclusion that Biden would be better than Trump on foreign policy?

That is going to be a hard needle to thread if unemp is still north of 10 in 3Q. If people ask themselves the question of if they were better off than 4 years ago....

Serious question: how do pollsters do anything with a straight face after 2016? If they were so far outside the margin of error, then how do they even carry on?

Polls are meaningless with Trump. The people that voted for him in 2016 will probably vote for him again, the democrats have not presented an alternative.

MM desperately trying to steer the population away from Trump, expect more of this...

I think Joe would be a very capable statesman particularly when dealing with China.....he just needs to remember to bring Hunter along with him on all official meetings with Xi. Hunter is the master negotiator, by the time they board AF1 Hunter will have talked Xi out of his monogrammed silk boxers.
