I'm against Gerrymandering by both sides. The fricked up looking districts around the country are beyond ridiculous.
Districts should follow county/parish lines with no split districts, unless there is a district wholly within a single county, as there is in some big cities.

Also, for those who would like to try their hand at drawing districts, the below link is pretty cool. You can draw the districts in every state at the voting precinct level, and there are data layers to mess around with for demographic and past electoral information.
Hone your own skills at gerrymandering
For most (not all) states, once you are done you can view the partisan/election breakdown of your new districts.

One thing I can respect about the Dems and the Progs is they are motivated, organized and fight like hell. Republicans are too nice.
This x's 1000000
Their ground game puts R's to shame.

It isn't nice. Most republicans are bought by the same money that bought the democrats. They aren't aggressive because the electorate is demanding nationalism and less centralization, which their financial backers very much do not want.
They days of waving a flag and a bible and calling it a day are over for the GOP and they will continue to be exposed.

Nope... Republicans ARE LAZY AS F*CK!!
Consider 2016 when the dumbasses weren't expecting Trump to win. They got caught with their thumbs up their asses when they did not have ONE SINGLE IDEA for how to replace Obamacare.
They are lazy. Worthless. We have got to get MAGA to primary these losers. They are as useful as breast implants on a nun.

Florida redistricting plan went to DeSantis and he said it’s not enough and sent back his own

however, Democrats have been very aggressive.
And will, of course. accuse Republicans of gerrymandering.

That's a nice way of putting it. I won't be so charitable - the Right is soft AF.

But then again... too many GOPers WANT to be in the minority party.
absolutely
that way they can pretend to be strong and still say "Muh hands were tied"

It's 2022... we should be able to let a computer draw lines with no political motivations.
Nope. Drawing legislative districts is one of the only things that still gives states any sort of real power. Want to have districts drawn the way you like? Vote for the local politician who supports that view.

You could likely split up KC, to leave the Dems with only 1 seat you can test for yourself on Districtr (Drawing Cong Map for MO)

That’s what the controlled opposition does...
