Of all the things to get upset about in politics, how does this even really register as a blip on your radar?

Who cares?

I'm more concerned with, well, pretty much everything else that directly affects me.

Id rather be wrong about the Earth's age then be a liberal and believe that Islam is a religion of peace.



Also, Hardly any conservatives believe that but pretty much all liberals do.

It's become almost a fad to politicize everything in the last 5 months.

Sure there are some nut jobs and a pretty big example of a scientific/government conspiracy (climate change). Unfortunately, there are other examples of this in the history of the science community. Both sides are guilty of confirmation bias. Even YEC's incredibly have their own scientists who work to confirm their beliefs. So do Flat Earthers.

However, it only takes a realist using these basic scientific fields to debunk ancient myths. They are that simple.
