Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) on Tuesday confirmed the person who found the January 6 pipebombs is a current US Capitol Police Officer.

Earlier this month new explosive J6 footage was released. It turns out that a plainclothes police officer found the DNC pipebombs at 1:05 pm on January 6.

As previously reported — A mysterious suspect planted two pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC DC Headquarters on January 5, 2021. The alleged bomb was safely detonated by a bomb squad on January 6 – however, there is no proof the bombs were even operable.

In fact, FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin reported in May 2023 that the technicians who worked on the program told him the devices were inoperable.

Maybe I am missing something....but why would it be newsworthy that a cop found the "pipe bomb"?

Guaranteed they gleefully deposited those things into the bomb box with the quickness.

“George, that looked a lot like a toaster oven. You sure we don’t need to examine it whatsoever?”

“Nope, Gene, that’s a bomb in my book. Case closed. Detonate the evidence.”

Was reading an article today that FBI agents were able to track the suspect to the metro station and identify him by the metro pass card he used. They then picked him up getting into a car with the plates registered to the same name as the pass. He’s retired US military. Agents were denied permission to interview him.

Article was from CTH so take it for what it’s worth.

Think really hard about this…

An off duty copy comes across a suspicious object. He approaches his fellow cops to investigate it… they don’t investigate it for hours. So why would they blow off a serious matter of public safety from their brother in blue??

Clear enough for you now?

They had the license plate number. It was a “former government official”.

The newsworthy part is that when cops that were on the scene were informed of the pipe bombs being found their reaction was to continue to eat their lunch. Very strange reaction if the pipe bombs actually posed any threat to anyone.

Yeah from the “tone” of the matter there seems to be a glaring absence of any reference to directed efforts to examine and investigate the device (aka 2004 model George Foreman grill), which one would think would be a critical step and factor in the situation, from their perspective to “hopefully” confirm the storyline that the event was such a dire, violent, potentially deadly Pearl Harbor style attack on our hallowed halls of Congress. Surely they’d have loved to throw that evidence around proudly and victoriously insomuch as it confirmed and proved their harrowing rendition of events.

No doubt, that they gloss over it without the fanfare that they’d love to have, guaranteed they exaggerated and embellished the story a great deal.

You are correct. The FBI knows 100% who the person is but has not pursued it.

Now tell when the last time that made sense?

Never

I believe the data from the phone company for that exact period of time was ... corrupted and unusable.

Yup, they were bold enough to have use that pathetic excuse. Unfortunately for them, it was discovered that they had fact knew the license plate number of the former govt official they didn’t interview even though they had a $500k reward leading to the identity of the pipe bomber.

Not really. It was always a weird scenario that didn’t make sense.

Doesn’t seem like a development to me.

Why was that information withheld from the public? You're right that it shouldn't be newsworthy or consequential but for some strange reason they kept that a secret. Why?

You can’t exactly look at that question in a vacuum, or the same across the board as you would perhaps in other similar situations. What makes it “newsworthy” is the idea that their overall attitude toward and approach to the entire matter has been to pile on as much as humanly possible, and then some. And then even more and throw in some falsehoods and embellishments to bolster their narrative that it was such a horrific situation. That they didn’t include any real detail about what should be one of the most significant aspects of the whole matter, when doing so would have been great to add to the overall picture, that this “significant” aspect isn’t a featured item is highly suspect.

Because it was a plain clothed police officer that found it. That info was kept from him until today. Meaning it was a planned bomb placement by the swamp. In plain clothes it looks like an innocent bystander found it.
