This one must have slipped by me, but I'm arguing with a leftie over the Joint Chiefs' statements about the military not allowing racism. Every article says "though they didn't mention Trump by name," which to me means they are trying to plant the seed that this is a rebuke on Trump. I saw a photo making the rounds of some guy doing a Nazi salute in an 82nd Airborne hat, which anyone can purchase and wear. I see the Joint Chiefs' statements clearly as just heading off the connection people want to make from that photo. Now this guy is trying to say that Trump wants to fire all of the Joint Chiefs for "rebuking him" following his comments. All they did was repeat what Trump said when he denounced this stuff. They didn't mention Trump's name because it had nothing to do with Trump.
Did I miss something here? Has anyone seen comments by Trump about wanting to fire all the Joint Chiefs now?

No. because they don't exist. Although there a plenty of generals worth firing and Id support Trump if he did.

General Joseph Votel comes to mind.

Trump does not know enough about the military to fire any of the generals.

Like his remarks about General Pershing today and last year he does not know military history or anything to do with the military.

Im wondering if you have a point? When was the last time this country elected someone based upon their military acumen? Are you suggesting that knowing something about the military or military history should be some sort of prerequisite?

Wait a minute. @real knows more than the generals, who by definition, know a lot about the military. He said so. Do I actually need to link proof of what the dumb fricks voted for?

OP's question was about him firing any of the generals.

My other point is you must know history as a president so you don't repeat the mistakes.

My next point was Pershing was the highest ranked Military officer ever at his retirement. He is considered one of the greatest US military minds in the history of America. At one of his birthday parties dignitaries from around the world came. He was admired by people from the world and even muslims.

To believe the shite he talked about in a speech last year and tweeted about today is just ignorant.

Trump hired someone who's on pace to be the greatest SecDef ever in American history.

Rude though it may be, acknowledging guilt is a step in the right direction.

His father fought for the Union. It is a area known as little Dixie. Not to far from where the Jesse James was from.

While waiting to get into West Point General Pershing taught at a all African American school. He was never considered a racist. During WWI he even had Afican American men fight with European countries because white Americans would not. Which at the time was unheard of.

If you believe he General Mattis is a better General than General Pershing you do not know military history as well as you think you do.

After he retired he help make deals that allowed the US to build military bases around the world still used today. He helped map out the US interstate system decades before they were built. He won a Pulitzer Prize on the book he wrote about his time in the military.

Do you?

Pershing was never SecDef.

Mattis is. Therefore he's going to be the GOAT SecDef. Shut up.

The military will be better off when all of the obama generals are gone.

Because he was the first lying pusdy to come out and support females in combat roles even before the final decision had been announced by the Obama administration. He's a piece of shite careerist.
