Reality: Lots of S. Koreans are going to have to die

The first responsibility of our govt is to protect the US. It is contrary to that directive to have a mad man with nuclear weapons that can reach the homeland.
Thus, a preemptive strike is necessary to take this direct threat to the mainland out.
Unfortunately, many s Koreans will die.
Sorry but that's how this has to play out.
Edited 8/9/17 for clarity:
The point I was making is it has become abundantly obvious that N. Korea WILL NOT dismantle or abandon their nuclear ambitions to have an ICBM or a few that can reach the US for what they see as a deterrent. From all the rhetoric from Clinton- Trump, a nuclear DPRK is a NON-STARTER as the US would essentially be wondering if the instability of the DPRK leadership decides to shoot off an ICBM at the US because he had a bad day.
Thus, given the heavy artillery pointed at Seoul by the DPRK and the fact that there is just too much to take out before they get a shot off many S. Koreans are going to have to be sacrificed in order to hold true to the mantra that the US WILL NOT ACCEPT a NUCLEAR NORTH KOREA.
-If you are Ok with a nuclear North Korea than you should write and call your Congressman and Senators to let them know that they should get on the national stage and state why the US should change its policy in this regard.
Otherwise, massive S. Korean casualties is probably the reality to ensure that we all don't have a proverbial ICBM to our heads controlled by Kim.

Or Trump could hold a nationally televised press conference where he tells fat boy to sit down and shut the frick up. Then calm the nation by reminding them of the vast nuclear arsenal that sits in the pacific ready to turn NK into glass should they even attempt to shoot another ballistic missle.
Then when they test him, unleash hell.
Then when they test him, unleash hell.

South Koreans still die in this scenario.
Posted on 8/8/17 at 10:14 pm to Covingtontiger77
please don't hurt the South Koreans, they'd be the only reason I haven't nuked NOKO (if I'm Trump)

Not really a shocking statement when you consider the alternatives: either have a nuke hit our mainland. Or learn to live with a nuclear N Korea.
Neither is an option and both are contrary to the main tenant of the US Govt- protect the US.
N. Korea is not disarming.
Best case you try and hit them hard to minimize s Korean casualties, but reality is thousands of them will die and that's just how it has to be.
World is sometimes an ugly place.
But our interests come first in this instance above all.

No they don't because fat boy won't do crap. China will reign him in knowing the crapstorm headed their way should it happen.
Kim is doing nothing different than his father. He is having to deal with a leader that is calling his bluff and he will eventually give up.

N Korea has been preparing for this for the better part of 50 years... they are dug in deep with massive artillery aimed at S Korea...it would be like a full bombardment of Manhattan times 10... a lot of people will die needlessly because some fat cunt is a bitch of epic proportions
Even a preemptive strike will let slip the dogs of war one way or another... not to mention they have a pretty good anti-aircraft defense system
People will die... it will be bad... very bad

If SOKO does anything it wouldn't be wasted on nuking Guam

Y'all keep saying this about China. You all fail to face the reality that Kim is not disarming or dismantling his program. Thus you will be living under the whims of a madman.
He and his weapons must be destroyed. If s Koreans die because of this, nothing you can do about it.

I wonder if someone in his inner circle will put a bullet in his brain if it becomes clear he's leading them to Armageddon?

So someone besides me watched FoxNews tonight.

There's no such thing as a war without civilian casualties. It's a sad, unfortunate reality.
Posted on 8/8/17 at 10:23 pm to Covingtontiger77
is there any way to secretly move the S.Koreans to a safety zone away from having any casualties?
Posted on 8/8/17 at 10:23 pm to Covingtontiger77
What would you do with the thousands of U.S. Military personnel on Kusan and Osan ABs?
Posted on 8/8/17 at 10:24 pm to Covingtontiger77
This situation is a prime example of why Trump shouldn't be president.
