I've figured it out. It's the hipster mindset.

Millennials are trying to LARP that this is another Holocaust.

Because that is much hipper than their weak-sauce "civil rights protests" re-enactments, and they know it. they need a Hitler to fight, so they imagined one out of thin air.

People feel a need for stress… so they often imagine stress for their lives and believe it's real.

I've said this for a long time. Protests, marches, and sit-ins in the 60's have been romanticized. These young people today want their moment.

I came to that conclusion a while back when I realized that the hippies back then who called our returning Vets baby killers are the parents of the hipsters who kill babies before they can draw a breath of air.
