When I returned home to America, I got some very disheartening messages directed toward me on social media regarding my trip. Some people didn’t like the fact that I was going to Poland to raise awareness for the issues that happened there and not using that time or energy to support people in the black community.
I was told my ancestors would be ashamed of me.
I know there are trolls online and I shouldn’t even pay attention, but that one sort of got to me. Because I understood where they were coming from. I understand that there are plenty of issues in our own country right now, but they were looking at my trip the wrong way. I didn’t go to Poland as black person, a white person, a Christian person or a Jewish person — I went as a human being.

can't have somebody bring attention to actual genocide, for obvious reasons

I don't understand this. I'm just too worried about me and my own to constantly be angry about trivial shite that doesn't affect me.

Man tries to educate and enlighten himself, gets called an Uncle Tom.
This is why we can't have nice things.

The people who believe that I am not spending my time the way the right way … well, they’re missing the entire point. We shouldn’t label people as this thing or that thing. Because by doing so, you create these preconceived notions, which is how we get into these horrible situations in the first place.

Here's the thing though: there aren't.

Blacks hate jews so I doubt they give a shite about the holocaust.

One of the funniest/saddest things I've ever seen is a Hasidic Jew and African American yelling at each other and comparing atrocities to see who the ultimate victim was.

The Progressive Left is experiencing an overwhelming and intellectually-debilitating moral confusion. It permeates every aspect of American life now. To discuss any substantive topic, we have to get through layer after layer of their bizarre psychological constructions first. And then and only then can we have an adult conversation.

To bring this full circle, If white people made this claim about a famous white guy going to Africa or something, they'd call those charges racist and liken them to...Nazis.

Is it because the perception is that all Jews are successful?

I've discovered after several embarrassing political conversations with people from other countries that no, we don't have real problems. We have first world problems, which are not the same thing.

Comparatively to the Jews in Poland circa 1940 -1945 we really do not. Hell the Nazi's in the liquidation of the Ghetto played shooting games with the Jews. Lined them up in a line and tried to see how many they could kill with one bullet. WE certainly were never at that point or anywhere close to it

Reading this, I'm wondering if, at times, prominent blacks just get fricking TIRED of thinking or dealing with 'black issues'.
Like, "Dammit, I just want to take a vacation!".

I think this is actually even a bit more optimistic than I am at the present time.

This cannot be overstated.

Wow. What an outstanding statement. I hope young black people are looking up to Ray Allen and not these SJW's who only want to victimize the black community. I know that's a lot to hope for but these are the kinds of leaders the black community needs.
ETA: This one might be even better.
