Rand infers that McConnell is protecting the big government Reps on Fox News.

This is in reference to the repeal and replace bill.
Rand said he was ready to vote yes on the bill as long as McConnell strips out the insurance bailout funds. This corporate welfare part of the bill is Rand's and many other true conservatives adversion to the current bill. He suggested that McConnell break the bill up into two bills. One repeal and replace bill and one corporate welfare bill.
Rand is making the assumption that the first repeal and replace bill will pass with all Republican votes and the second corporate welfare bill will pass with all Democrat and some big government Republican votes.
The problem from McConnell's perspective is that this approach exposes the "conservative" Republicans as frauds who on one hand spew rhetoric about MUH smaller government howerver on the other hand fund BIG government.
The impass at the moment as described by Rand seems to be McConnell's desire to protect the big government Republicans by bringing to the floor a bill that uses small government Republicans as a shield. Rand is not falling for it.

It's his fault for endorsing him during a tough campaign. He had an opportunity in his hands to help the American people he claims to fight for, but folded like a cheap lawn chair when he had a chance to rid Washington of Mitch McConnell.

McConnell was never NOT winning. Rand was being generous because of the endorsement by McConnell.

maybe I'm a sucker, but I believe Rand
a four letter word to the cucks, this is why they hate Trump and this is what they spend 100% of their time trying to avoid, so naturally there will be yuge pushback.

Regardless of how you see it or I see it. He endorsed the type of politician he pretends to be against. That is called selling out because he feels he needs Mitch McConnell for his presidential run.

has any senator in the history of the world ever come out critical of another senator in his own party in his own state during that senators election? The floor is for debating ideas, he may genuinely want McConnel in, I mean who is the alternative? I have friends that I vehemently disagree on issues, doesn't disqualify our friendship. I understand your point, but I think the standard is so high that it disqualifies him from endorsing anyone running.

I don't have the time to do that research. It is probably low. You must mistake me for someone that didn't want Rand. I like Rand, but this is an area where I dislike the act. He is quick to call people out in his role. I believe I can call him out for something as a voter.

Rand is one of the few honest men in Washington. We don't deserve him.

True. Him opposing McConnel in his senate run would have been lose-lose. The game is dirty, I just don't see that Rand has an alternative to endorsing McConnel, maybe just being quite about it. If he's calling McConnel out now, maybe their relation ship has changed.

I can't stand McConnell. I hated it when Rand endorsed him, but I understood it. It's one thing to have principles, but had Rand gone against McConnell he would have been done in the Senate as far as ever getting anything done. He would've been a pariah in his own party.

Rand is the only American in the Senate.

There's something to this, yes.

I can accept that, but I can't stand McConnell one bit.
