Question about Mattis swearing in

Does anyone know who was the young woman holding the Bible at Mattis swearing in? Family member?

The better question would be why do these people ignorantly swear on the Bible. We are instructed in that very Bible not to swear.

Okay, I respect your viewpoint, but my initial question stands. Besides, these two gentlemen ARE both Christians, to the best of my knowledge.

I don't know the answer to your question, but he always seems to have hot, young women around him.
Not bad for an old, single guy.
The only guess I can come up with is maybe its his niece or something (and I don't even know if he has a brother or sister)?

I would imagine, because when Kelly was sworn in, it was a different, older woman...
I'm guessing they get to pick who holds the bible for them? Or is it a representative from their dept?
Seems it would be one or the other, because if it was a designated person from the admin, you would think it would have been the same girl for both, being they were 10m apart.
