Well, for one, there is no cohesive sense of national pride. You have one side that wants to preserve what it means to be American and you have the other side who wants to completely destroy and remake our country. It turns out removing statues, implementing DEI initiatives, grooming children, and hating on Christians is actually not inclusive or unifying at all.
Then you have the US government, which is the largest and most powerful criminal organization in the western hemisphere, probably the entire world.
Criminals and illegal aliens have more rights in this country than law abiding citizens.
You have democrats who are dead set on destroying this country with their progressive, utopian policies, and you have republicans who are too weak and feckless to stop them from doing it.

People are flocking to Russia. Why aren’t people flocking to the US?
It’s great over there. Things are booming. Inflation is non existent. It’s an open society, free speech, no gun control, and free healthcare.

I think the people going on and on about how nice Moscow and St. Petersburg are, should go move to a rural town in Russia, and tell us how great it really is.

That's nonsense. Russia's politicians are not corrupt. Russia's oligarchs became oligarchs by rolling up their sleeves and doing things to their boot straps and working hard. NOT by greasing the poltiical establishment and kickbacks.

Have you seen much of America, friend?
Tens of thousands of shithole rural towns. I grew up in one.
Thousands of shithole urban areas.
Russia may not be better, but we have a lot of issues to fix before we really start pointing fingers.
Russia today isn't Russia circa 1983.
The allure of Putin to many is that he is a nationalist, intent on preserving their culture at all costs. A lot of people, me included, have grown weary of "America 2nd" attitude by our leaders that has been allowed to permeate to our youth.
America IS fricking awesome, but you sure wouldn't know it by listening to our millionaire politician leaders intent on erasing our culture... and succeeding.

Long answer goes back to Wall Street and the rise of GREED in the 80's and I could explain it all with lots of text and graphs none on here would take the time to read, much less sink in to overcome emotion with logic.
