If anything on the terrorists front, he didn't want Hillary to continue to arm and train them. Didn't have anything to do with Trump really.

You want to tally a body count? Propping up Assad, while a greater good in the end, does not equal fighting a war on terror. Russia has done relatively little to target ISIL and AQ and their affiliates.

No, Putin wants to undermine American institutions. It's why Russia creates a lot of the fake news that's all over the Internet. It's why Russia pays an army of internet trolls to try to shape discourse. And it's why Putin actively supported a reality TV star (someone who probably has narcissistic personality disorder) for President.
