With 53 percent of the votes counted, 97 percent are in favor of statehood. I am shocked the independence vote is as low as it is.

This is their only hope of getting out from underneath the royal debt frick that is their economy.

Congress will never admit them. The big Banks's won't allow it either while they are basically controlling the whole island.

I'm perfectly fine with adding states and we shouldn't look at it as red/blue. They did that adding states leading up to the civil war.
