Criminals with guns: OK

This should be at the top of the NRA's lobbying efforts. Crimes committed with guns should have extra-long and harsh sentences.

Much of the anger and hostility to legal gun owners is because of the actions of illegal gun owners and other criminals that commit crimes with guns.

define "gun related crimes"

crimes that involve a gun

so violent crimes (shootings, robberies, etc), property crimes (theft involving guns), and possession crimes (possessing them illegally, possessing them in the presence of drugs, etc)

quote:

define "punished harshly"

how about mandatory minimums?

Pretty damn rude of you to lay a turd in a thread like you did and then leave it to others to polish

48 hours ago you said you saw no irony when you wrote...

you're not like that though, are you? you understand that massive groups of people aren't all just one thing who only think one way.

mandatory minimums takes out the ability to discriminate against the perp, right? or does it?

i backed away instead of doubling down

what would you prefer my sentence to be for not polluting the thread further? strip me naked and have me walk to the red keep?

I think it is a board rule to only have one Game of Thrones reference per day. That's two that I've seen. Tread lightly for the remainder of the day. Pick a Breaking Bad reference.

How about "no false equivalency arguments until you understand your opponent's position instead of a dimly imagined caricature"
