How long until their glass houses begins to crash down around them along with the popularity of their leagues?

I watch sports to escape from the stress of life. I don't want to be lectured by pampered millionaire athletes who by and large are terrible people devoid of reality.

Considering the future outlook of SC football, you may want to find a new way to escape that stress.

I believe the word you're looking for is "stance."

I made it through 21 straight losses in 1998-1999, so this recent freefall ain't shite. Plus our basketball program (men's and women's) have become very successful so there's that.

No, I said exactly what I intended to say. As in the link below.

I live in Cola. The dedication of the fanbase here surpasses even that of Auburn/Alabama fans, and I'm from Alabama.

People here love their War Chickens, and a losing season won't affect that.

Bastards are even starting to rub off on me

There has been a backlash against Colin Kaepernick's antics, but now that Lebron, Durant and others are becoming more vocal, what might be the ramifications on the leagues that made them household names.

Actors get away with it, but will the people that pay the lionshare of athlete's salaries be willing to continue to spend extravagantly once they have been continually offended by the rhetoric of the athletes in question?

Fine, but the wording of my subject stands.

Most conservatives (those of us who have problems with these athletes stances) bailed on basketball when the players took over the league 10-15 years ago. Football is still our thing and the NFL knows if they let their players get too political we'll just haul arse to college football solely where players aren't even allowed to talk to the media.

There's a reason as hated as the NFL comissioner he's still the comissioner. He works for the owners and makes them money. As long as the rating's keep dropping when guys like Kaep keep doing dumb shite like he's done the league will black ball and make the right adjustments. Even when cuck networks like ESPN try to push the narrative we just tune them out and they end up having to lay off employees.

Kaepernick's stand may have been met with disdain within the power structure of the league, but more and more, there are others coming to the forefront.

The NFL will not be able to stem the tide as they are already under attack for their heavy handed relationship with the very players that are going to revolt against them.

Yeah right! Kaep has been black balled and Eric Reid, his teammate who was sitting/kneeling with him, has since come out and said he regrets doing it. That's all a small little sideshow anyway and their political opinions make shape the thinking of little kids who "look like them" but not those of people who give money to the NFL.
