Strength Coaches? Yeah that would have been right after my last game.

Let me tell you about "Donny". Guy hated my guts. When I wanted to walk on I asked the Director of Ops when tryouts were. He told me they were in August but I had the option of going through the offseason and spring ball with the team to prepare myself for the tryouts. So I did that.

I show up my first day of offseason weighing maybe 155 pounds. Coach Summer didn't respect me from the start. Said I should join the band instead. My first week was tough because the equipment staff didnt give me any cleats, so I had to do our conditioning minus cleats. One conditioning activity involved dragging and pushing heavy shite across the field(MTXE if you remember it), something nearly impossible to without cleats. What I did was dig my knees into the turf to move the stuff. They were bleeding by the end of it. I gained respect of my teammates that day and because I did such a good job in the offseason/spring ball I was given a roster spot during the summer and didn't even have to try out in August.

But Coach Summer never really ever respected me, but I was fine with that, thats the way he needed to be with me and others because it motivated us. He tried to break me every day of every year I was there and I held firm. I was one of those try hard walk ons who would show up the scholarship guys who were out of shape and not giving full effort and I think he hated that.

Zach liked me though. So did Todd and Matt. Was Levi there when you were there?

It's not like I go around beating my chest that I was a college athlete. I've only let it be known a few times. I wasn't even any good. I was just a walk on who got to play in mop up time, and even then all we would do was run the ball up the middle. They called one pass play during my entire time I was there, and it got thrown to my fellow walk on buddy who scored a TD on it.

Dude congrats on being a hard worked with a high motor and a coach on the field.
Just kidding, most folks cannot even walk on anywhere, so:

Why do you have a Georgia G next to your name?

Haha Donny. Sounds just like him. Donny didnt really like anyone except for the big guys. Zach, Matt and Todd were excellent coaches. I dont remember Levi.

I had to do MTXE with a group of linemen. I puked my brains out when I finished. MTXE at 155 lbs is legit, I am impressed

Don't sell yourself short, 90% of the people on this board couldn't do that and 100% would have loved to do that. Not for TCU of course

Yeah 155 pounds, my first time ever doing it so I didn't know the strategies, and no cleats. You know how they would divide it up into 3 groups and the groups that didn't win had to do extra at the end? I was so worried that I was fricking up my team because of how long I was taking, but it ended up my team didn't give a frick because they were impressed at the fact I was tearing up my knees just to get it done and didn't quit. The boat chain was by far the hardest part.

I got better at MTXE as the years went by. There was one time Coach Summer got pissed and made us do it all twice. It sucked but not near as bad as the time I had to do it without cleats. Once you got the strategies on how to do it all down, it wasn't too bad.

Colorado Circuit was my thing. Everyone talked about how bad it was - it was only bad if you were out of shape. I slayed that shite every time we did it.

The hardest thing we ever had to do was the plate relay dont know if you had to do it when you were there. They stacked a bunch of rubber power clean plates on one end of the weight room, and you had to unstack them all one at a time, run them one at a time over to the other end of the weight room, then when they were all stacked on the other end you had to move them all one by one back to the original point. Only time I ever puked my guts out during any workout we ever did.

Why not have the TCU logo next to your name and a half face picture with your ring instead of a casino? That's a nice piece, the Rose Bowl ring.

Not a single arse hair among the lot of them.

Quite sad actually.

There's more manhood on a teenage softball team than there is in that bunch.

Haha yeah we had to do all that too. I think I was able to borrow cleats when I did MTXE. I still used plate circuit when trained teams after TCU

Right, a guy so insecure about his status on an anonymous internet message board that he sits around in his apt with all of his jerseys, plaques and ring to video and post in case someone questions his athletic claims.
