People make bad choices because it’s easier and they are lazy.

healthy food spoils faster and in different parts of communities isn't kept easily accessible on store shelves. part of what made our food supply so vast is all the preservatives and shite they pump into it.

It's a little more complicated to understand than just a straight lettuce is $3 and velveta mac and cheese is $2. There are a lot of things in play than just raw price for junk food vs health food.

I work near a (crappy) grocery store and several convenience stores and fast food restaurants. It's definitely cheaper to buy a salad or a baked half chicken than it is to go to the fast food places.

It literally is not a fact. A pound of potatoes is cheaper than most frozen pizzas. A large can of several types of vegetables can be bought for less than $2

People are arguing that only poor people in North America have this problem. Maybe we should cut off their gas stove and make them cook a pot of beans over a fire like a third world country problem solved.

No they are fat because they sit on their fat asses, dating ho hos they bought with their food stamps, while waiting to collect disability checks from the government because they are too fat to get off their arse to work, while like the chick did a couple days ago, recording a video and going hysterical on their cell phone to post on tiktock BECAUSE one of their babies 4 daddies brings his kind a Mcdonald meal everyday but the ho thinks he should be bringing meals for the 3 kids that are not his and she doesn't get her foodstamps for a couple days but while she doesn't have the ability to feed her kids she has a ton of makeup on, her nails done and a new weave

I changed my mind on this a few years ago. I got behind someone paying with EBT and she was trying to stretch every dollar she had. The kid (about 5) wanted a pack of Oreos and the mom said they couldn’t afford them right now. Buy the damn Oreos. The kid deserves that much joy no matter if his parents are poor.
