I never will considering OP blind links

Why is Slate asking me to help them fight Donald Trump?

Way to post a blind link...dumb arse.
Some advice for future posts, try quoting some of the linked text that gives everyone an idea of what the story you are linking is about.

You're just cherry picking another comment.
There was no blind link posted.
And I added another before you posted.

I'll answer. I had not heard about it.

There are two blind links in your OP.

Thank you.
Neither had I.
A friend posted it on Facebook this morning.
Find it interesting when things like this are kept from the bubble of info we live in.

I assume now that a blind link is not naming the link..
Since when is that the standard here? Obviously the links are going to stories related to the thread title.
I'd guess peoples frustration have less to do with the blind links and more to do with the content and sites being linked.

No. Blind linking is posting a link with no accompanying information. Standard practice is to quote a portion of the text that is important along with a link.

I heard about it, and I've seen the pictures of the muddy water pouring into that river. I kinda follow south American mining, so I guess that's where I saw it.
Last year this stuff was on the MSM tickers and news feeds for a little while but I don't remember the full details. I know people were drawing comparisons to the BP disaster.

Well. We do have a media problem but in the year 2017, a good deal of the bubble is of our own making.
There's no shortage of English language foreign news sources.
I've always found it interesting that even among people who make an effort to be aware beyond their borders, the equator seems to be a stopping point.
I don't think it's willful. It's normal. But, it still is a blind spot

That accident was reported all over the news, including CNN, CBS, ABC, et al, more than a year ago when it happened.

It's not.
I think the problem is still in motion even though it happened over a year ago.
We didn't hear about the Dakota Pipeline situation like we should've when that was going down.
There's most definitely a bubble created by the MSM and even the alternative media.
