A good consultant can help an average candidate become more focused. A great candidate with a good story is much more important than having a good consultant as long as the story gets told.

Scott Angelle wasn't a good Congressional candidate. He was propped up by several million from one person during the Governor's race and when he ran for Congress, he had to rely more on the Kathleen Blanco crowd that is dying by the day.
