The Trump/Russia allegations combined with the Hillary e-mail scandal are a great example of the hypocrisy people have in their political beliefs. The left defended Hillary, and is jumping down Trump before we have all the facts. The right defends Trump, and jumped down Hillary as soon as allegations started.

The problem is, both accusations are troublesome to national security. But people care more about their party than the country. Inevitably, posters will respond to this defending the candidate they align with or trying to argue one thing being worse than the other. Too many people look for what they want to- i.e. Trump supporters say the email scandal endangered our national security and the Trump/Russia stuff is fake. Clinton supporters downplayed the seriousness of the emails and are calling for Trumps head before we have all the facts (same as they were upset the right did to Hillary).

The reality is both accusations are serious and threatening. I wish more people would look at them without bias instead of trying to downplay or invalidate either, just because it's who they supported. If we could ever get to that spot, we'd be in a much better place. Now go on bashing the other side and keeping your head in the sand for wrongdoing by your party.

There is no proof of the Trump/Russia "allegations". They were created by the media to deflect the very real corruption in the Clinton campaign

As much as I agree, to compare Hilaries emails to trumps Russian implications is just so asinine and the mistake many of my moderates are making.

Make no mistake about it, Hilary wasn't the best candidate and there were legit questions about her emails. Now did her emails compromise national security and was she colluding with a known foreign advisary?

I think the answer is no. What trump might has done is TREASON.

Yeah man this has been my stance for years. There is too much of a "team" mentality when it comes to politics. As long as your team wins then it doesn't matter. You know damn well if a Democrat was doing half the ship trump does the right would fricking die.

Yeah, those damn hippos coming into our country really are fricking it up. Need to extend that wall to the Rio Grande because they're good swimmers.

Yeah, but she's just a terrible person in general. Much more deserving of scrutiny.

I am not. I just sit back and watch people, on both sides, complain when the other team is in power. It's the same no matter who is in office. The Dems sucking Obama off was just as bad.

Dude there is right and wrong. The fact that people we can't throw parties aside is childish.

We elected a man that presumably and laughably made a bad deal with Russia and now is at the whim of Vladimir Putin. I've never seen a man so cuckholden and scared of Putin. It's horrible for our national security to have a president who is a beta and scared of our enemy.

So much for being a "deal maker"

I agree. But that's not the point. It doesn't matter which is worse. If we were all unbiased, I think we could agree the recklessness displayed by Hilary was enough of a concern that she shouldn't be given the office and the collusion with Russia is an obvious red flag that Trump shouldn't either.

Doesn't matter which is more malicious or harmful. The fact that that becomes the focal point for many, as if one being less worse validates the actions by their own- is a problem
