I am disappoint in the drop in quality of the poliboard. A few years ago, you got hassled (from both sides) if you didn't bother to read the linked article for the thread. That's because actual thought went into creating a thread. Doctrinal/standard left v. right talking points were out of the norm. Threads often had an original idea spawned from the OP's reading of the article. This, as opposed to the current "look at this clever snarky headline I just read on drudge" thread.

That was also back in the days when posting a link to something like Breitbart or raw story was roundly criticized. There was a actually high quality discussion at one point.
