I didn't see the press conference today. If Obama stepped up to the plate today, then good for him. His initial comments regarding the Ferguson situation were very disappointing to me.
That being said, my comments are based on Obama's 5.5 years in office, plus his time as a candidate in 2008. For those of you who are acting like this thread is a joke, I'll simply ask you the following two questions (and I could probably come up with 20 questions):
(1) Do you think that Obama was telling the truth when he told Bill O'Reilly that he never heard Jeremiah Wright make any of those controversial comments? And if Obama was lying, shouldn't he have been forced out of the 2008 presidential race?
(2) When Obama was asked why his poll numbers dropped 15 points in YEAR FIVE of his presidency, was he playing the race card when he said, "Some people don't like me because I'm black"? (did these 15% of Americans not already know his race?).
How about an honest response to those two questions? Surprise me.

Obama did not have a close relationship with Jeremiah Wright.
Saying that she was finally proud of America was not race-baiting.
