He was right. I'm getting dangerously close to being sick of winning. But, NOT YET!

I'm not exactly sure how anyone's piss is exciting to you unless you're a witch or Warlock. I also don't see how this is winning in any way whatsoever. The man is supposed to be running a country and not squabbling with NBA players

professional athletes are role models to millions of our youth. you don't think it's important to prevent them from teaching people to hate their country? of course you don't. you're a racist.

Yet you have no problem with an ex president berating a present president?

I think they should be marginalized because I cannot image worse role models for our youth than professional athletes, whenever one of these guys does "the right thing" like pay child support, they get praised. Where a player like Drew Brees is the oddity not the norm.

Or Obama going on late night shows and saying “at least I will go down as a president”

How are they "hating the country" and how are they teaching that? Please elaborate as much detail as possible

That's a picture of President participating in American culture to exude togetherness.

The other just stands above all others and insults them if they don't like him which exudes a divide.

Can you see how those two things are different?

If I protested or made a political statement of any kind at work I would be fired.

I expect the same from the NFL.

The same people who scream that police or teachers who make political statements on Facebook should be fired are the same ones saying these guys are heroes for doing the same thing at work.

Hippocrates?

Well it would seem it really just depends on what job you have. I don't think other people should be fired for speaking out just because you would be fired for speaking out. It's a little selfish of you.

The team of young black football players all kneeling during the national anthem came from where you think?

Are they all kneeling because of love of nation? Or because a selfish piece of shite is trying to teach them being black will get you killed for that alone. Or that white peoples will take their life without a thought.

Well frick that, the narrative is so played out. People in these incidents are constantly pieces of shite with criminal histories most find staggering. We can always in hindsight question police actions, the fact that the world is unequivocally a better place with all these scum dead though tells me all I need to know about the scenario and their actions leading to their deaths

Sports culture is insufferably self- reverent. Ideally it should be a very minor and positive part of our life. But it should not dull us intellectually or spiritually or replace the important things in our lives. So in my mind, I see this as a great opportunity to observe exactly what it is we are worshipping here, and maybe to put it in the little cultural box where it belongs . This elevation of jocks and jock- sniffers and actors and star- frickers is the height of banality . It is less important than what you plan on eating for lunch.

Is this little display of ego supposed to mean anything?

The only thing Difficult about LSU law is that you have to learn Napoleonic Code.
