There are many people on tv and radio that are chameleons and will become whatever they have to be to make money.

I liked him more as a stringent liberal. At least he would debate and listen to the other side.

This. You will probably see some other talking heads shift right over the next year or two. Right now the Right feels like they are underrepresented a will support any legitimate or semi-legitimate commentators who say what they like.

I wouldn't mind Fox offering him a show/position. Seems he could bring a reasonable liberal viewpoint. I'd wouldn't mind Fox branching out and getting a little more balance.

Put him on CNN, and he's all in for the liberal slant, he was adamant on 2A repeal. Put him on Fox, and he's likely going to be stoking the right wing fires.
The Brits view politics as entertainment with some necessary work being done... their Parliment is way more rowdy and contentious than what we see here, even now. Morgan honed his act stirring shite in that arena, and he sees a chance to make money here doing the same.
