Did you see it? The years of employee compensation? So the NYT was given compensation information for people who are not Donald Trump. Yeah, that right there should make everyone spit fire from their eyes. What the hell right does the NYT have to employee compensation?

The NYT knows this. They also know that the average American thinks chocolate milk comes from brown cows, so they certainly cannot possibly understand how estimated payments and NOL carryforwards work.

As a CPA, and I haven’t read the story or know anything about this, my first thought was “I wonder if they are talking about his total tax, or simply talking about the overpayment/refund.”.
It seems they are incompetent and if they don’t know how to read a tax return, they shouldn’t be reporting on it. Irresponsible and they know exactly what they are doing. They know the average taxpayer only pays attention to that refund number and they think that’s their taxes.
They make fun of Trump voters being uninformed and uneducated, yet here they are trying to misinform the public based the same.

Apparently, a lot of folks have never completed a tax return, and can't distinguish between taxes paid throughout the year and additional taxes due at return time.

Funny thing about this, I just watch some bald headed dude claim that paying only $750 is proof that DJT is only playing a business mogel and not actually one. That it cuts to the heart of his campaign 4 years ago.
Ok, few problems with that. DJT has a track record as President now. DJT has a big plane with his name all over it flying him all around the country. He owns properties and licenses his name all over the place. It is not like the dude is hurting for cash. DJT is exactly what he claims to be.
