Also, these players who are kneeling obviously begrudge white America. They begrudge me and my life and the country I was born in, even though through liberalism and open-mindedness we have given them the opportunity to live out their dreams.
It's common sense that I don't want to support them financially when they have this attitude.

Yeah, after the fact. It's PR at this point.

What the frick are you on about?
White America?
America was founded on freedom of expression and dissent and if some overpaid athletes want to take a knee bc they have some point to make who gives a flip?
I'm not crying in my Cheerios bc they are doing exactly what the founding fathers wanted Americans to do.

I wonder if SJW viewership will replace the traditional viewership of traditional American " normals" ? I can't see many angry disaffected Progs suddenly getting all excited about jock culture and the "plantation " ownership/ player relationship. Not to mention brain injuries. The players are making common cause with those in our society that would have them at the unemployment line or playing amateur soccer.
And I'll be interested to see how ratings vary from team to team, based on the degree of activism.

Wrong again.
Kaepernick has been one of the most charitable NFL players even before the anthem kneeling.

All Americans have the right to free assembly and speak peacefully. Kneeling is peaceful.
Even groups that I strongly disagree with such as racist KKK, BLM, and Reconquesta, or fascist such as Nazis and antifa have First Amendment rights!
But:
You don't have this right at work IF your employer objects! Now the NFL appears to have no problem with various forms of BLM support by its players during work at the work place. Fortunately I have the right to peacefully not watch the NFL. I do grant myself a Saints exemption!

It's not a big deal and is just a fad that will fade away when the attention they receive wanes.
It's peaceful protest. If someone wants to protest, this is how they should do it.

Nobody isn't saying they don't have the right.

Nobody cares what a Muslim City fan thinks about the NFL

I'll never understand the anger over Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the anthem, but then be totally cool with protecting (what amounts to participation trophies) confederate statues of generals who wanted to secede from the country that this flag actually represents.
What a strange stance to have

That's it? Please find me a starting NFL QB who doesn't have a charity. That comes no where near proving me wrong. You implied that he's one of the most charitable players in the league.

Is seeing that much different than knowing? Because we all know (or should know) that we probably don't agree with most athletes or celebrities or musicians, etc.
So I don't understand the outrage when they show it, especially when they show it peacefully.
It literally doesn't affect anything about the game.

Cleveland went 1-15 last year and last won a playoff game when Bill Clinton was president, and this is what a big part of its team (or I guess part of those trying to make its current roster) is currently focused upon. Yeee Hawwww!!!!

Show me the receipts. Pledging doesn't mean jack-squat.
If he feels so strongly about the hood he should give a lot more than that.

Anyway, you're going to have BLM / SJW's boycotting the NFL and you're going to have white fans like me with a softer boycott as you saw last season.
Will be interesting to see the ratings and the attendance as this year gets underway.

It's petulant children acting out in a very disrespectful fashion. Many great Americans sacrificed their lives for the freedom that that flag represents.
It's disgusting and I don't have to watch them play.

But I believe his pledge and contribution came after his troubles, not before.
He'd previously committed to charitable causes, but to a far lesser monetary extent.
