Pedo ring in Norway busted with politicians involved

Disturbing though it may be, people in positions of power have been increasingly linked to pedophilia in recent years. From the ongoing Catholic priest sex abuse scandals to similar criminality among British lawmakers, it appears power and authority attract troubled individuals, at least to some degree.
This week, yet another pedophile ring was exposed, this time in Norway. Reports indicate politicians were among the members of the 51-person ring. Police investigating the potential crimes dubbed their inquiry “Operation Dark Room.”
As The Local, an English-language Norwegian outlet reported:
“Police seized 150 terabytes of data material in the form of photos, movies and chat transcripts between members of various paedophile networks.”
According to Hilde Reikrås, the head of Operation Dark Room, “The material shows the abuse of children of all ages, including infants.”
She discussed details of the findings at a press conference on Sunday:
“The material shows, among other things, the penetration of toddlers, children being tied up, children having sex with animals and children having sex with other children.”

I'm not sure but what I am sure about is this is how the cabal or whatever you want to call them control people. They will find people with these proclivities, give it to them and then use it as blackmail to control them. This is why it happens worldwide and is not isolated.

If this stuff is true, I think it's sort of an initiation into the upper level of power. Once you take part the others now have leverage over you. If you participate one time you are susceptible to being blackmailed forever.

The crimes are so depraved that the media can barely report on them. It's just sick. Sick. Sick. Sick.

I'm not a psychologist and have no background in the area.
However, I think sex is a drug. Power and Money afford you the ability to satiate your sexual desires in abundance.
I think this leads to escalation. Next thing you know, a beautiful woman isn't enough and you start craving things that are considered abnormal. Eventually your craving things that society has put out of reach because it is the very thing your power cannot afford you in abundance.

Pedophiles aren't suddenly created in their adulthood. It's created in their childhood.
It's not even concentrated among the "powerful". It runs in all rungs of the power and income spectrum. It's in trailer parks, ghettos, suburbs, and gated communities.
We barely give it much notice when Joe Sixpack from Bama diddles his niece while his brother is out deer hunting. But we seem to be more alarmed when Joe Caviar III uses his wealth to import a little boy from Thailand to diddle.
They both believe they can get away with it, but the primary difference is the moron pedophiles think they can just deny it. The wealthy and connected pedophiles can use their wealth to insulate their risk. The wealthy ones are less likely to molest relatives. They prefer strangers because it reduces the connectivity. They also live in a world where money can buy influence and the illusion of loyalty.
